Shasta

Shasta was born in Iowa on a cold Christmas Eve eve. Growing up as a Navy brat, she lived in more than a dozen different states including three years in Hawaii. After the Navy her father became a medical doctor who continued to move the family. In her "formative years" Shasta lived in Idaho, Florida and Colorado before striking out on her own. After high school she spent sixteen years (less six months in Texas) in Las Vegas. Always a music lover, Vegas offered her the opportunity to see many of her favorite acts live - which she often took advantage of. Her other love, muscle cars (along with her smokin' hot bod' ), got her on as a pit crew member at the Vegas Speedway.
Knowing that better things could be found in Illinois, she headed east and eventually found her way to Elvin (who she narrowly missed in Colorado many years earlier) in 2002. And the rest - as they say - is making history.
